French Bronze Inlaid Ebonized Cave a Liqueur, 19th c., the fold out sides opening to a lifting tray with a bronze handle, fitted with 15 etched crystal liqueur glasses and four matching decanters and stoppers, H.- 10 3/8 in., W.- 12 1/2 in., D.-9 3/4 in
Condition
Condition is consistent with age and use. The decanter dimensions are height with stopper – 8 ¼ in., Dia.- 2 ½ in. The set has 15 glasses present and one is lacking. Hinge area of both “wings” has green buildup. Bronze inlay coming up on front and the veneer on sides of box has cracked and begun peeling. The proper left lid hinge is missing. The top has a big scratch on right side. There is alcohol present in all bottles. All glassware could benefit from a cleaning, the case also needs cleaning. There is normal wear and tear with scuffs and scratches throughout.
