Description

Ebonized Inlaid Bronze Mounted Glove Box, 19th c., of serpentine form with floral inlay and relief bronze classical medallions, H.- 43/8 in., W.- 12 1/2in., D.- 5 1/2 in.

Condition

Condition is consistent with age and use. The top of the box has a crack on the proper left. Top is slightly warped. It closes flush on the proper left, but there is a small 1/16 inch space on the proper right. Normal wear and tear with scuffs and scratches throughout the piece. The top beaded inlay is missing on the right side of the lid and is coming up slightly on the left front. The lid has been hot glued at the hinges and is no longer holding in place. The bottom of the box is also missing two feet. This item could use some repair. ____________________________________________________________________ ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD "AS IS."
