French Napoleon III burl wood veneered, mahogany and ebony banded, and mother of pearl inlaid cave a liqueur, 19th century, having a removable tray fitted with four etched colorless glass decanters and fourteen matching liquor glasses, apparently unmarked. Provenance: From the Private Collection of Helen Spitler, Cumming, Georgia. Approx. h. 10.25", w. 13.25", d. 10".
Condition
Area of loss to and damage to ebony banding with repair to back corner, some wear to banding, case does not close completely, key is not present. Decanters: minor chips to stoppers, one decanter chipped to rim, one decanter with crack to body.
