Original vintage Soviet film poster for a black and white film Alpine Ballad (Russian: ÐльпийÑÐºÐ°Ñ Ð±Ð°Ð»Ð»Ð°Ð´Ð°), a 1965 Soviet drama film directed by Boris Stepanov. The film takes place during the Second World War and focuses on prisoners of war who work at a factory in the Alps and decide to escape. Great design featuring a black and white target with the photograph of a couple in the centre and red poppy flowers on top, the text above and below in stylised black letters.
