Vera Cruz, Mexico ca. 400-600 BCE. An early pottery fragmentation example from a figure, depicting angular facial features, including a high cheek bone, pointed chin, and recessed cheeks. Parted lips, revealing teeth, disc-type ear ornaments, and striated headband. Dimensions; 6: H. Provenance: Dr. Henry Cherrick, a professor and dean at UCLA School of dentistry who pioneered government programs promoting dental care in HIV/AIDs patients. He was an avid collector of fine art and antiquities and died at the age of 84 in 2023.TL test from Ralf Kotalla laboratories accompanied the lot.
