A FINE AND LARGE SATSUMA TAPERING OVIFORM VASE
Kinkozan, Meiji Period
Finely painted with vibrant enamels and gilt, the body with a central decoration of a pigeon and dove perched on a cherry blossom tree, below ink-style painted wild grass, the neck with ho-o amongst trailing flowers, the foot with a gilt foliate band, Kinkozan mark to the base.
