A Japanese Satsuma Vase by Kinkozan Studio
Meiji or Taisho period, early 20th century, the ovoid body finely painted in polychrome enamels and gilt on a matte dark olive tan glaze with a continuous daimyo procession, figures meticulously painted in great detail and become smaller as they encircle the vase upwards, a gilt and red shippo tsunagi band at the waisted neck and key motif encircling the foot, the recessed base signed in gilt Kinkozan-zo with impressed seal of the same.
