Double fore-edge decoration, one depicting Newstead Abbey in Nottingham, England; the other depicting a scene of Venice, Italy, including the Dogana and the Santa Maria della Salute. Red leather hard cover with gilt pictorals "Bride of Abydos" "Ciaour" "Corsair" "Siege of Corinth." Gilt embellishments to spine with title. Gilt to page edges. With 46 illustrative engravings on steel by Edward Finden, from designs by Henry Warren. 290pp
