Description
Walter Addison, New York, 1914-1982. Three plaster plaques with Egyptian motifs including: Two plaques, one for wall hanging and one for standing, both decorated with Egyptian figures, including the original mold and drawing; and a plaster plaque with Egyptian hieroglyphics, also with original mold. Basement found and needs cleaning, good condition . Circa 1950-70. The largest mold measures approximately 19 3/4"H x 11 3/4"W x 3" thick. Provenance: Consigned by family. All artwork was found in his cottage in Washington Depot, Connecticut, on the banks of the Shepaug River, where he lived with his wife Rhoda from 1965 until his death in 1982.
