A very fine Antique Chinese landscape painting, ink on high quality silk canvas; very fine silk and woven silk embroidered mounting;
By repute: It was the professional opinion of a Chinese paintings expert from a major Beijing and HK auction house that the name on this painting is Wang Jian (1598-1677) and that it is correct. Further, the academic translation of the inscription reads: Painted in the summer of 1649.
Painting size: Approx. 45 in. H x 15 in. W.
Mounting size: Approx. 75 in. H x25 in. W.
