"Frederick Forsyth is a genius with a pen. This particular endeavor wouldn't be my favorite, even though it pursues kidnapping with a different twist, deeper plot than usual and a few surprises. Compared to other writers of this generation, Forsyth still ranks number 1 in my book. He knows history, he understands how people think, and he does impeccable homework, no matter what the subject."
