Item/Description: 19th Century, two-day marine chronometer by James Sweetman Eiffe, London. Silvered dial is numbered: 457 and marked: Eiffe, 48 Lombard St. South Cresct, London City and Bedford Sq. Trident hour hand. With seconds dial and wind, up/down dial. Contained within three-tier wood and brass travel case with drop handles. Includes signed Hutchinson "Rate Certificate" dated 1912. (Gimbal-mounted brass bowl, Airy's bar balance, Nautical timepiece, Celestial navigation) Includes key.

Condition: Excellent. Signs of age, use and wear includes some surface scratches to wood case. Fine working condition. Folds and tears to accompanying paperwork. Some chipping to upper portion of glass on display box.
