East Asia, China, Ming Dynasty, ca. 1368 to 1644 CE. A mold-formed pottery dish of rectangular form with tapered walls and a planar basin, all resting atop a quartet of nubbin feet. The exterior walls are decorated with low relief curvilinear motifs, perhaps depicting dragons or other mythical creatures. All exterior surfaces save for the feet are covered in thick celadon glaze bearing vibrant green hues. Size: 5.25" L x 7.375" W x 3.4" H (13.3 cm x 18.7 cm x 8.6 cm)
