Chinese Ming Dynasty Red Glazed Dragon Porcelain Sky Ball Vase. The porcelain potted in large shape celestial vase, thick and tall, globular lower body, straight cylindrical neck, round mouth rim, raised on a short ring foot base with slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against red fine color, depicted of imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, glossy quality. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
