Description
A 1918 evening dress made of stunning purple colored chiffon with silver brocade metallic lame. The brocade is embellished with beautiful lame designs woven into it. Purple silk satin ribbon around waistline. The dress hangs loose with extensive snaps and hook and eye closures. Closure is on front side. Net tulle lining in bodice and silk satin lining in skirt. Two attached long streamers with knots at back.

The dress was recently deaccsessioned from the Strong Historical museum in Rochester New York and still retaining its museum catalog identification string tags.
CONDITION
This dress is in very good condition The lame is overall in phenomenal shape with very few small pulls. Has small tear at top of shoulder by button snap closure. Has some discoloration at underarm area on interior net tulle. Lining in very good condition. Can be worn with care.
