A 1925 flapper evening dress made of stunning cream satin with gold brocade lame. The brocade has beautiful lame flowers woven into it. The dress style is the 20s shift dress that hangs loose. The dress is embellished with a wide metallic brocade lame belt that drapes around the hips and decorated with a large diamante artificial jewel rhinestone pin/buckle. Not sure if this belt goes around to the back or pinned up to the shoulders. The only way to get the dress on is to slip it over the head. The low cut back also has a rhinestone pin attached to the gold ribbon streamers. The dress was recently deaccsessioned from the Rochester Historical museum in Rochester New York and still retaining its museum catalog identification string tags as well as a sewn in.catalog number fabric tag. No lining.

CONDITION
This dress is in excellent condition. A beautiful design in near pristine condition. The lame is overall in phenomenal shape with small pulled threads. No stains, repairs or holes. No stones missing in pins/buckles. Can be worn with care.
