Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Bowl. The porcelain potted in a shallow, slight deep, round close mouth rim, raised on ring foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color, depicted of flowers bloom interspersed scrolling interlocking tendril, petals and repeating key fret. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze greyish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.
