Description
A pair of 1940s Polish metal breast badges of the Warsaw ghetto police. Hexagonal badges with Magen David, inscriptions Ordnungsdienst Sluzba Porzadkowe, JRW RZW. The bigger badge has a pin backing, the smaller has a stud back. The smaller badge has an embossed hallmark RZM on the backside. The Warsaw Ghetto was the largest of the Nazi ghettos during World War II and the Holocaust. It was established in November 1940 and demolished in May 1943.
