This example bears the name of the printer on the title page verso: “Brown, Printer, Ledger Building, Philadelphia.” The cover bears a contemporary note in the upper margin in pencil that accedes with many reviews of Anderson as both a conjuror and a thespian: “A good magician, but a bad actor.”
