Description
Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A set of 3 hand-knapped obsidian tools including a pair of slender blades and a thick spear head. The spear head features a pointed tip, sharpened edges, and a notched tail that would be bound to the end of a lengthy wooden shaft. The knapped edges on each of the knife blades are incredibly sharp, likely more so than even today's modern scalpels. Size of largest: 8.875" L x 0.8" W (22.5 cm x 2 cm)

Condition
Each piece has small chips not commensurate with knapping, otherwise intact and very good. Great preservation to overall forms and nice translucency.
