Notes: In 2014, Good Luck Gallery in Chinatown, Los Angeles held a show dedicated to the clay sculptures and assemblages of 103-year-old sculptor and first-time solo exhibitor Harry Steinberg. Steinberg was a surgeon for most of his life and served on the battlefield during World War II. After retiring he picked up the practice of sculpting in clay and assemblage. The centenarian was self-taught and worked within the genre of 'outsider art'.

Condition
Overall fair to good condition with shelf wear, scattered minor scuffs, scratches, and inherent firing flaws commensurate with age. The ceramic appears to have separated from the wood base as there is glue to the underside, but it is no longer attached/mounted.
