Elvis Presley's Personally Owned 1.50ct Citrine, 0.40ctw Diamond and 14K Yellow Barked Gold Ring W/LOA From Sam Thompson - This handsome gold ring was personally owned by Elvis Presley and was eventually given to friend and bodyguard, Sam Thompson. The ring is crafted of 14k yellow gold in an ornate barked gold design that Elvis enjoyed, and boasts a 1.50ct oval cut citrine along with 0.40ctw diamond accents. The ring comes with a signed Affidavit from Sam Thompson, who received the ring from Elvis in 1973. Elvis was admitted to the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis in October of 1973 for a time period of about three weeks, during which his girlfriend Linda Thompson stayed with him around the clock, and Sam Thompson visited nearly every day. According to Sam Thompson's affidavit, Elvis removed this ring one evening while in the hospital while Sam was visiting, and gave the ring to Thompson as a gift for his friendship and loyalty.
