Elvis Presley's Personally Owned 1960s Derbi Dark Bronze Sunglasses W/Photographs and ExtensiveDocumentation - These 1960s Derbi dark bronze sunglasses were personally owned and worn by Elvis Presley. Thesunglasses come with extensive documentation from Elvis collector and historian Joseph Kereta, who acquired theglasses from Debbie Stallings Moreno. In 1967, Elvis Presley purchased Debbie Moreno's horse, Sugarfoot.Moreno, a schoolgirl at the time, returned home to find a black limousine outside of her home, and Elvis andPriscilla Presley purchasing Sugarfoot and several other horses from her father Cecil Stallings, Jr. Elvis waspurchasing the horses for his newly purchased Circle G Ranch, and Cecil Stallings would become the ranchmanager. According t the letter of provenance, Elvis left these glasses in the cab of Stallings' truck one afternoon,and when he went to return them Elvis replied "Just keep 'em." There are several various photographs of Elvisbetween 1963 and 1967 wearing what appear to be these glasses, including at Graceland, in "Spinout" publicityphoto shoot and recording sessions, and at Circle G Ranch.
