Central/Eastern Africa, Sudan, Dinka peoples, ca. early to mid 20th century CE. A fine pair of cast white metal spoons with deep scoops, thick rims, and rod-form handles decorated with either raised rings or lightly-incised geometric motifs. Each spoon is formed with recycled aluminum from European pots and pans. Fine patina has formed across both examples. Size of each (both are relatively similar): 6.25" L x 1.8" W x 4.75" H (15.9 cm x 4.6 cm x 12.1 cm).

Condition
Small loss to rim of one spoon scoop. Both spoons have slight bending to overall form, minor abrasions, and softening to some finer details on handle. Light earthen deposits and fine patina throughout.
