Description
**First Time At Auction**

Western Greece, Archaic period, ca. 7th century BCE. A lovely, mold-made votive figure depicting a woman - perhaps a deity - seated on a wide throne with hands on legs, all draped in a mantle atop a long robe. Light remnants of pigment can be seen on her surface. This ancient female could have been used in a home altar or given as an offering at a temple. Size: 2.3" L x 2" W x 4.3" H (5.8 cm x 5.1 cm x 10.9 cm)
