Wonderful large late 18th or early 19th c portrait of well to do woman, with large red hat, wearing a necklace, earrings, brooch and multiple bracelets. Painting was relined it appears years ago, unsigned, and in later gold frame. Painting measures 44" x 34". Extremely well executed, and striking visually. From estate of a New York City apartment, who later moved to Hudson Valley, where all her paintings hung, until her passing.
