CONTINENTAL SCHOOL (19TH CENTURY) MINIATURE PORTRAITS IN GOLD-FILLED BROOCH, watercolor, one side with a side-profile portrait of a woman wearing a red head scarf, the reverse of a woman with flowers in hair and off-shoulder dress, both are signed "M. Doeli", housed under glass in a Victorian gold-filled brooch featuring a rotating center with pin fastener to back and replaced locking clasp. 19th century. 1 1/4" x 7/8" sight, 2 1/4" x 1 3/4" OA.
Condition
Portraits in excellent visual condition, brooch in good overall condition with some wear, scattered worn spots and losses to gold, each exterior bezel bent and loose / partially loose from frame, side with woman in red having a dent to frame, clasp replaced.
