Description
REMMEY FAMILY, PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA DECORATED STONEWARE DIMINUTIVE JAR, salt-glazed, approximately half-gallon capacity, ovoid form with two incised shoulder rings, delicate squared rim, and beaded foot, brown-slip glazed interior. Brushed cobalt double-blossom floral decoration repeated three times around body. Probably Henry Remmey Jr. Circa 1840. 7 3/8" H, 4 3/4" D rim.

Undamaged except for a small chip to edge of rim. Glazed-over chip to foot bead, as made.
