Description
PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA DECORATED STONEWARE PITCHER, salt-glazed, approximately half-gallon capacity, baluster form with rounded rim, two incised neck rings, applied strap handle, and pronounced beaded foot, Albany-slip glazed interior. Brushed cobalt horizontal tulip and leaf design repeated four times to body with four feathers spaced around neck. Probably the Richard C. Remmey pottery. Circa 1875. 8 3/4" H, 4 3/4" D rim.
Undamaged with some expected wear to rim and spout.
