Description
PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA DECORATED STONEWARE PITCHER, salt-glazed, approximately one-gallon capacity, ovoid form with incised and beaded neck ring, incised shoulder ring, applied strap handle, beaded foot, and brown-glazed interior. Brushed cobalt decorations featuring two flowers rising from the base with dropped feather from rim to each side, and additional cobalt below spout and to handle terminals. Probably the Richard C. Remmey pottery. 1870-1885. 10 5/8" H.
Mostly undamaged except having an approximately 1" L chip to top of foot on side.
