The metal frame with two hinged covers each faced in black leather (some wear), one side opening to reveal a folding pigskin-lined four compartment purse, the other opening to reveal the bright mechanism comprising short barrel and plain cylinder, the former protruding through the side of the frame and disguised by a hinged muzzle-cover automatically operated by the trigger on firing, original rammer held by a spring-clip on the inside of the ventilated cover, and with folding trigger held by a spring-catch, London proof marks
