Yi Shawl Textile, China, Early 20th C. Long shawl of muslin cotton cloth made in two sections with geometric, star and animal patterns on the ends in supplementary weft inlay and embroidery in dark blue cotton and yellow silk threads. Long fringe of blue, brown and ivory tabby woven cotton. Provenance: Ex. Roger Hollander collection. Size: 5'4'' x 10'' (163 x 25 cm).
