17th century Chinese Qing carved huanghuali wooden brush box with beautifully carved decorations of a dragon and phoenix along the top of the lid.

Condition
The brush box is in generally great condition with no major chips, cracks, or losses. There is a minute chip to one of the corners of the box. Along the underside, there are some minor sticker residues. As expected from its age, dust collected to the recessed parts of the pattern along the upper side of the box. Along the interior of the lid, there is a minute chip to the extreme edge. Along the interior there is collected dust; soiling to the paper inside. No sign of restoration under UV inspection.
