Group of two World War II era military helmets comprising, a Canadian Mark II steel helmet with netting, and a German steel M35 or M40 helmet with double applied Afrika Korps and M35 ET64 Heer National decals and hand inscribed "Kasserine/Sidi-Uu-Sid/Fritz Krupp" and partially stamped "66" or "99", otherwise unmarked. Provenance: From the Private Collection of Vernon Harris, Cumming, Georgia. Approx. of the German helmet h. 6.5", w. 9", d. 11.25".
Condition
Both with surface wear and oxidation, German helmet with missing elements and bullet/shrapnel holes.
