This landscape painting is attributed to a Buddhist Monk who used the assumed name Shi Jie san. It was accepted for Christie’s NY online sale a few months before Christie’s decided to close their Chinese paintings department in NY in September 2020 and moved the whole of the main Chinese paintings department to HK.
