"Dr. Franklin's Maxim" Colorful Vignette Child's Cup
c. 1820 Early 19th Century, "Dr. Franklin's Maxim" Colorful Vignette Child's Cup, England, Very Fine.
This impressive, highly colorful Vignette Child's Cup measures about 2.75" in diameter and 2.5" tall. Black Text on one side reads, in full:
"Dr Franklin's Maxims / Now I have a Sheep and a Cow Everybody Bids Me Good-Morning / Diligence is the Mother of Good Luck."
Opposite side has a vividly colorful transfer image of a prosperous looking gentleman with a sheep and a bull being greeted by another man, tipping his beaver top hat in salute, while riding his horse in passing. Minor unseen chipping to the inside rim of the bottom base lip.
