Unique Group of Autographs (23 Items) from 1920s & 30s Notables

A large collection of autographs from a wide selection of notables - from famed detectives, philanthropists, inventors, and manufacturers to religious figures, college presidents, and politicians. There are 17 total autographs, with an additional 4 rejected requests by secretaries and one missing autograph within a response letter - 23 pieces in total. Dating from January 29, 1929 to March 2, 1937, all are addressed to Mrs. Harriette L. Kinney. Also accompanied by a photo postcard of Calvin Coolidge, Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, and Harvey Firestone, signed by an unknown hand. The majority have retained their original transmittal envelopes. With varying degrees of toning and soiling. The majority with flattened mail folds. All with bold signatures, overall very fine. For further condition information please refer to the photographs.

The rejected requests for an autograph were sent by the secretaries of James Bryant Conant, Pearl Buck, Charles Schwab, and Daniel Guggenheim. The missing autograph is of Otto H. Kahn.
