Description:

21x16.2 cm (8¼x6½") white illustrated wrappers; housed in black and cream clamshell case with paper title labels. First Edition.

Inscribed by Bukowski, with a full-page doodle of two men dancing together with a star and a dog around them on the inside front wrapper. The inscription is on the facing title page, reading, "I didn't jump-- Charles Bukowski 8-12-69". Contrary to the description in Sanford Dorbin's bibliography, the poem "Cows in Art Class" is sill present, printed tail to head across the verso of leaf 7 and the recto of leaf 8. Dorbin A12; Krumhansl 28.

Condition

Light wear to wrappers, with hint of foxing, very good or better.
