With text under the illustrations. - Edmond Morin (1824-1882) studied under Charles Gleyre at the École des beaux-arts in Paris. In 1851 he stayed in London where he worked for The Illustrated London News for five years. After his return to Paris he worked for La Vie parisienne and Le Monde illustré, where he became one of the most important illustrators. - Partly brownstained. Well preserved.
