(9) items including a nomadic Turkmen ceremonial dress; a Berber wedding hat; and (2) Islamic having embroidery using gold-tone metallic thread; Asian including textile portion having (3) embroidered cranes; Balinese painting on textile; flat weave wool rug having geometric motif; and framed fragments including the larger depicting a figure, the smaller with a geometric pattern; together with (4) carved wood items including a saddle tree with cast metal fork and horn, a double club, a yarn winder, a clapper having leather hinge and hand carved, folk ark style wood figure depicting Minnie Mouse walking
Provenance: The Estate of George 'Yorgo' Demetrakopoulos; professor, assistant director of the Medieval Institute and assistant to the dean at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan from 1965-2000

Height: 21 inches, Width: 18 inches (dress; double club 41-inches long by 3-inches in diameter)
Condition: Very Good to Poor, overall light wear consistent with normal use on textiles, Berber hat having a loose attachment, crane embroidery slipping in plastic, Ramayana scene having slightly fraying edges throughout and light dirt / debris accumulation, framed textiles having overall wear to both with tattering, the geometric with a repair, frames showing moderate wear with finish; overall moderate to heavy wear on wood items, wood cracking due to age and weather, chipping, finish loss, possible missing pieces, Minnie having chips, cracks, nicks, fading, broken and missing pieces
