Description
Southeast Asia, Thailand, ca. 19th to 20th century CE. A wonderful brass head of Buddha! From a cast of a full figure, the rounded face presents with partially opened eyes, pursed lips, elongated earlobes, hair with repeated rows of tight curls, and a pointed top-knot emerging from the top of the head. Size: 2.5" W x 4.7" H (6.4 cm x 11.9 cm); 7.6" H (19.3 cm) on included custom stand.

Fragment of a larger figure. Professionally repaired and restored with some expected abrasions. Otherwise, excellent with nice remaining details and nice patina. Attached to modern custom stand.
