Description
The soldier wears his kepi and infantry jacket with the upside down Vs on the sleeves. One leg is crossed over the other, as he stares into the camera.
This is definitely a field tintype i.e. made on the run with its square cut appearance.
Approximately 3 1/8 x 2 5/8 inches.
Note: a sharp-eyed reader corrected our original description, observing that this soldier is wearing an infantry coat, not a cavalry coat as originally written here.
