AMAZING Matched Pair of Amish Snowballs Antique Quilt, Signed & Dated "1933!"

Description

This matched pair (TWO quilts) of Amish snowballs quilts is machine pieced and hand quilted, with zigzag borders. The maker signed her name, the date "1932-1933" and the place "River View Garden, MO."

Each measures 50" X 84" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small, inconspicuous spots and no wear.

There is quilting around the piecework throughout at 5-6 stitches to the inch.

The backs are solid pink, the machine stitched bindings are green, and the battings are thin. All solid color rayon/satin fabrics were used throughout.

RARELY do you find matched pairs of Amish quilts, especially with such WONDERFUL COLORS and DYNAMIC BORDERS!
