Item Details

Description

This cotton 40's matched pair (two quilts) of floral bouquet quilts is hand appliqued and hand quilted, with hand embroidered accents and scalloped edges. Each measures 64" X 90" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small, faint spots (I haven't tried to clean these) and no wear. The quilting is superb, with quilting around the applique and in straight line, ripple, and feathered designs quilted throughout at 7-8 stitches to the inch. The backs are white, the hand stitched bindings are light blue, and the battings are thin.
