Description
the first: a harvest ring flask, Pennsylvania, circa 1810 - 1840, incised "1776" (7 1/2 inches diameter); the second: a pitcher, having manganese splotches (5 1/2 inches high; the third: a mug, having rust splotches on green ground, with handle (3 3/4 inches high); the fourth: a bowl, decorated with 6 yellow lines (7 1/4 inches diameter; 1 3/4 inches high); the fifth: a jar, of cylindrical form with waisted neck, decorated in mottled green, brown and rust, encircled by an incised line (6 1/2 inches high); the sixth: a mug, of tapering form, decorated with dark brown splotches on lighter brown ground, with handle (3 1/4 inches high); the seventh: a mug, partially glazed, of squat ovoid form with two loop handles (3 3/4 inches high); the eighth: a pitcher, covered with shiny rust glaze (3 3/4 inches high); Provenance: The Estate of Sally W.
