Chinese Ming Dynasty JiaJing Wucai Cranes Porcelain Jar. Potted with a vessel shape, globular belly, heavy on shoulder, short neck, round close mouth lip and raised on flat wide round foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against wucai design color, depicted of flying cranes through clouds, vapors over swims cranes and water plants. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
