Description
A Le Ore (Italy) handmade "Art Inlay Clock" based on a 17th century design by Giovanni Battista Foggini and Bathasar Permoser. Italian, late 20th century. Outfitted with a Franz Hermle movement and 24k gold-plated brass mounts, including a figural Father Time top finial.
Constructed a deux corps, with a top clock compartment and a bottom cabinet with single drawer. The cabinet interior is lined in silk brocade. High-gloss ebonized finish. Altogether, the clock with cabinet measures 81" x 31" x 17".
