Description
A Chinese longquan ware celadon glazed vase, dating from the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). The celadon glaze is thickly applied, and pools unevenly in one area by the base. There is glaze crackle throughout. The neck, rising from a steep shoulder, features incised vertical lines within the glaze, rising to the rounded rim. The base rises outwards to a high shoulder. Darker green glaze straight lines in diamond shape decoration around body.
