A VERY LARGE CARVED LONGQUAN CELADON ARROW VASE
Ming Dynasty
The heavily potted vessel rising from a splayed foot carved with mountain peaks, the compressed globular body with a band of undulating peony scrolls within borders of raised bosses and below a band of peony blooms at the shoulder, the tall cylindrical neck carved with upright plantain leaves, flanked by a pair of handles on a flowerhead frieze at the terminal.
