Rare Cotton Ikat Wrapper/Hinggi, Indonesia, Early 20th C. Wrapper of cotton with patterning in warp ikat, with a design of European style horsemen and grooms, the repeat symmetrical along the horizontal axis. Woven in two pieces and sewn along selvage edges. Warp fringe on ends. Size: 6'8'' x 3'4'' (203 x 102 cm). Provenance: Ex. Roger Hollander collection.
